The Birchpole Singers are delighted to offer
"A Last Night at the Proms"
A concert in aid of the Air Ambulance

This local choir group is gaining a deserved reputation for a varied, entertaining and fun repertoire, interspersed with choral and classical pieces. Their Musical Director, Mr Alan Taylor, has brought his significant reputation to the group for some three years and their performances are going from strength to strength. The musical expertise is further enhanced by the delightful presence of accomplished soprano and pianist, Ms Rhian Morris.

They are set to perform a Jubilee Concert, as part of the 2012 celebrations and on that very Jubilee weekend, Sunday 3rd June 2012, in order to celebrate The Queen's reign and to raise much needed funds for the Midlands Air Ambulance charity. The Choir is most heartened in this enterprise to receive the support of The Leominster Festival Committee and to be allowed to promote our concert as a prelude to the following week's presentations and events.

The theme of the evening will be to culminate the performances with a "Last Night of the Proms", rousing atmosphere and the appropriate, well known songs allowing for a vociferous contribution from the audience!

Be careful not to miss this and the other special events looking to make Leominster the Jubilee Capital of Herefordshire!

Parking will be available at Buttercross on the evening of the concert courtesy of Hinton's Stores.
